The European Institutions can no longer ignore the phenomenon. Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies are becoming more and more famous worldwide. The need to take position and work on regulations is urgent if we want European Union to stay competitive in the nearest future.
Banks, Law firms and Insurance Companies are the basis of our European financial society as we know it. The importance of the change of paradigm brought by the blockchain technology coming for these industries has no precedent. We must get things organized all together to avoid any possible risk of systemic crisis.
We all know that the "Uberization" of the financial institutions is progressing at an exponential speed. Many European individuals have already taken some serious action and invested money in Bitcoins, AltCoins and ICO's. The profits expected from these investments are - at the moment - not under any legal frame and therefore avoiding tax ;

"There’s a lot that Bitcoin or variants can do to make moving money between countries easier and getting fees down pretty dramatically. We need things that draw on the revolution of Bitcoin, but Bitcoin alone is not good enough."
